Marian Polovy was the key note
guest speaker recently at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
The speech focused upon medical malpractice;
the press; and the positive impact of the great history and medical services of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York upon
the community. It was well received by the medical community judging by the repetitive and thunderous applause and laughter
in response to the humorous anecdotes.
The Speech will be published in the upcoming issue of the Visiting Nurse
Service of New York Journal.
Recently, in Molloy v. Defendant Doctor, et al (Bronx) despite having a target defendant,
my firm obtained a discontinuance with prejudice from Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman & Mackauf, on the eve of trial, based
on good old fashioned trial strategy in the months leading up to trial. Co-defendant remains in the action. We pay nothing.
That’s the way we like it! Especially sweet is the victory, given our dynamic adversary, and the potential for a million
dollar plus verdict.
